The shortest path to achiving a stable temperature inside a wine cellar is a flawless insulation. Just like its conception, the insulation of a wine cellar should be undertaken by specialists. Faulty insulation applications create thermal bridges and interrupt the vapor barrier. The result of insufficient thermal insulation and vapor barrier in a wine cellar is fluctuating temperatures, extreme humidity, molds and undesired odors. While fluctuating temperatures cause the wine to oxidate rapidly, extreme humidity damages the labels. Undesired odors reduce tasting quality.
